Age of Empires IV (also known as AoE IV) is an upcoming real-time strategy game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios. First announced on August 21, 2017, the game is the fourth main title in the Age of Empires series.
The game takes place in the medieval era, featuring at least two civilizations, the Mongols, and the English, much like Age of Empires II, although with a wider range of time starting earlier and ending at the end of the renaissance era[1].
On the 14th of November 2019, gameplay footage of Age of Empires IV was revealed for the very first time at X019[2].
